Review by hotel critic
I recently enjoyed a rejuvenating stay at Refugio, tucked away in a forested area that offers a peaceful retreat. The staff were professional and attentive, always ready to assist, though language barriers occasionally made communication a bit tricky. I treated myself to a massage at the on-site spa, which was a lovely way to unwind after my adventurous explorations of Greece's stunning landscapes. The outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing escape, though the distance from the accommodations meant a bit of a trek. If you fancy outdoor activities, they offer reliable bicycle rentals, which is perfect for venturing around the tranquil surroundings. While the accommodations themselves were basic and could benefit from a little upkeep, the atmosphere prevailed. The location is a bit removed from the center of town, making for a serene setting but requiring transportation for those looking to indulge in Capivari's restaurants and nightlife. If you seek a calming getaway and don't mind a bit of travel, this could be a good choice for your next adventure.
